Porcelain Veneers
Porcelain Veneers are precisely fabricated thin coverings that are placed on the front (visible) part of the teeth. The procedure is highly effective in correcting several different dental concerns. Chipped, misaligned, and discolored teeth can be made beautiful with this relatively simple and comfortable procedure. Even teeth with spaces between them can appear ideal with porcelain veneers. The procedure is accomplished over two appointments. On the first visit, with mild dental anesthesia, the teeth are slightly prepared with a minimum of tooth reduction. An impression of the teeth is taken and temporaries are fabricated based on a replica of the final restorations. This enables the patient to immediately see the shape and contour of the permanent veneers. In approximately 10 days the patient returns for the veneers to be bonded to the teeth. The use of advanced adhesive techniques create both a stunning and strong restoration.
